Dr. Barrett was born and raised in San Diego.
He graduated from the University of San Diego, California with a bachelor`s degree in animal physiology and neuroscience and then went on to obtain his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at St. Matthew`s University in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands in 2015.
Dr. Barrett is interested in feline medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, general surgery, and anesthesia/pain management.
In his free time he enjoys CrossFit, flag football, scuba diving, and anything involving the beach and/or water. He lives in Apex, NC with his wife Meghan, sons Anderson and Saxon, and their two cats, Sniper and Chalupa Batman.
